My mom hired Home Solutions to help her prepare for the move from a four bedroom home to a one bedroom apartment. Jamie Shaner was the best part of the process. She packed for Mom, advised her on what items would be helpful in her new home and oversaw the entire moving day. Jamie had Mom’s apartment unpacked and ready to settle into within hours of the move. We recently hired Home Solutions of WNY to help move my dad to a retirement community. All of us are out of town. We came in for the move itself, but it was too much for dad to get himself packed up. Jamie was awesome! On the packing (and unpacking) days she was efficient and put my dad at ease. My elderly in-laws had to move out of their house of 38 years in only a few weeks. Three of four children live out of state. Without Jamie Shaner, this insurmountable task would not have been possible. Jamie orchestrated the downsizing, which included a lifetime of treasured belongings. She recommended someone for an estate sale, and assisted in making sure everything was ready for the sale. She hired a mover because we trusted her completely. She oversaw two moves – one to a storage facility, which she found, and one to my in-laws’ new apartment. Jamie was responsible for the details of the move, which included packing valuables, unpacking so my in-laws new apartment was all ready for them, telling the movers how to arrange the belongings and boxes in the storage unit for easy access, and providing invaluable support to our family.
